Commercial kitchens in restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, and more rely on Seal Tex for on-site kitchen repair and custom stainless fabrication. We design, repair, measure, sketch, and install custom stainless-steel projects, walk-in coolers, freezer floors, doors, wall skins, and refrigeration gaskets.


This is NOT assembly line work

We build custom stainless equipment for restaurant and home kitchens including vent hoods, countertops, shelving, signs, and more. Work in an air conditioned and heated shop.


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator with hands-on experience. The primary responsibility is to bend sheet metal to precise design specifications while maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Study blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements
  • Set up and operate a computer-controlled press brake
  • Accurately position and align metal before bending
  • Bend thin-gauge stainless steel (down to 11 ga) to precise tolerances
  • Monitor the pressing process to ensure consistency and quality
  • Measure and inspect finished parts to confirm specifications
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment
  • Follow all shop safety standards


Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year Brake Press experience
  • Experience working with thin-gauge stainless steel (down to 11 ga preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs overhead
  • Kitchen equipment fabrication experience is a plus

We are seeking a motivated Installation Helper to join our team. This role is hands-on, assisting our lead installer with decorative metal projects in high-end residential settings. The right candidate will be reliable, eager to learn, and will take pride in their work.


This position starts as an hourly helper role. With training and experience, you'll have the opportunity to advance to a lead installer, installing with your own helper and earning commission pay based on your installs.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead installer with handling, moving, and installing decorative metal products (*some heavy lifting required*)
  • Safely load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and finished pieces in the company vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite


Qualifications:

  • Previous construction, installation, or handyman experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
  • Detail-oriented
  • Professional appearance and demeanor - our work is in high-end homes

Our technicians can suggest, repair, measure, sketch, design and install custom stainless-steel projects, walk-in coolers and freezer floors, doors, and wall skins. Our trucks carry a full line of Kason refrigeration parts including door closers, hinges, latches, and strip curtains. We custom build refrigeration seals/gaskets from the back of our trucks. In addition, all our service trucks and technicians are equipped to do on-site welding. We cover Texas, Northern Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas.

  • We’re looking for a motivated individual to assist with commercial installations and learn the ropes to become a full-fledged installer. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow and advance into a skilled technician position. You’ll start by supporting experienced installers, gaining hands-on experience, and learning the skills needed to take the lead. If you’re a hard worker with a passion for advancing your career, we want to hear from you! Pay is experience based for this position.  At first, the job will be an hourly role, but it can quickly turn into commission with each test that you pass.


You must have the following to be considered for this role:

Entry-Level Commercial Appliance Technician (Paid Apprentice)

Through our paid Apprentice Program, you’ll train alongside experienced technicians and learn how to repair and install commercial kitchen and equipment. Once certified, our top techs earn $100,000+ per year.


What You’ll Learn & Do:

  • Repair commercial kitchen equipment
  • Perform welding and stainless-steel fabrication
  • Work directly with customers in the field
  • Identify additional repair needs and recommend solutions while on-site

(You’ll be working on jobs already scheduled — just helping customers fix everything they need while you’re there.)

The Sheet Metal CAD Drafter will:

  • Use SolidWorks 2025 sheet metal functions to create parts and assemblies of Seal Tex products and produce detailed drawings for customer review and production
  • Use knowledge of CAD and sheet metal design to take products from the concept stage to the manufacturing floor under minimal direction
  • Create nest-ready flat patterns of all sheet metal parts
  • Work closely with other drafters and production personnel to ensure efficient manufacturing execution
  • Ensure precision and consistency in design practices


What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ year(s) of SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)
  • 1+ year(s) of Sheet Metal fabrication or design (Required)
  • Experience with creating and interpreting engineering drawings
